Kinesiology

Kinesiology uses gentle muscle monitoring, often as simple as applying a light pressure to your arm. This muscle then becomes the 'indicator muscle' and will either stay strong or unlock in response to the level of stress the body feels. If a word, memory, feeling, etc causes stress, the brain will respond instantly and the indicator muscle will momentarily unlock. This is the response that is monitored through kinesiology to identify that stress is still held over certain events, feelings, beliefs, etc.
You may not consciously be aware of feeling stressed about an issue, however kinesiology by-passes your conscious mind to tap in to the much more extensive wisdom of your unconscious mind.
This process of identifying that stress is still held in the body can reveal specific unconscious beliefs and thoughts that may still be influencing your life.
Kinesiology also works with your body's own innate healing ability, and knows in what order to deal with these accumulated stresses and exactly how it needs to be healed.
Kinesiology is a natural modality which simply facilitates the body's own wisdom and healing process.
By using various corrections such as positive affirmations, homeopathic remedies, gentle massage, or simply just by talking through the increased awareness around these thoughts and beliefs, your body and mind is bought back into its natural state of health and well-being, allowing you to live a more healthy and satisfying life.
Kinesiology is effective for both physical and emotional issues and much insight can be gained through this modality. While Kinesiology does not diagnose, it works to bring the body back into its natural state of balance. Kinesiology also combines well with other modalities that you may be working with.
Various different ways of working with Kinesiology include PKP (Professional Kinesiology Practice) which incorporates many aspects of physical, structural and emotional health.
